My love of photography started as an offshoot from my birding hobby. My skills at bird ID were weak, and in order to learn more and become a better birder, I began to photograph birds. This has grown into a major passion, and other topics besides birds have intrigued me over the years, such as travel photography, macro photography, plants, other wildlife, and yes, even a few people.
